Cristina Comaniciu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. After receiving her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University in 2002, she joined Princeton University as a postdoctoral fellow, where she worked on research topics related to wireless networks. She joined Stevens in August 2003  as an Assistant Professor. She currently serves as Electrical Engineering Department Director at Stevens. Her research interests are on the areas of resource management for wireless networks, cognitive radio networks,  green radio, cross-layer design, game theoretic approaches for wireless networks, and security/energy tradeoffs for wireless networks. She won the 2007 IEEE Marconi Best Paper Prize Award in Wireless Communications for the paper "On the Capacity of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks with Delay Constraints", co-authored with H. Vincent Poor. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters Journal.
