Dr. Reza Peyrovian is currently an Enterprise Architect in AT&T Labs in Architecture and Planning organization. He has been an adjunct faculty of the Stevens Institute of Technology since 1996 teaching graduate courses in Software Engineering, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and Theory of programming Languages.

He was the Assistant Professor and Assistant Chairman of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science before joining Bell Labs in 1990.

In the Labs, he was the key architect of the 1B Processor in 4ESS switch. He developed the concept of Next Network Switch based on the evolution of circuit switching to packet switching.

Dr. Reza Peyrovian obtained his Bachelors and Master degrees from University of Kansas and his Ph.D. from University of Miami in Mathematics and Computer Science in 1985.
