Shamik Sengupta is presently appointed as a Post-Doctoral researcher in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ with Prof. R. Chandramouli. Shamik Sengupta earned his Ph.D. from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Central Florida in 2007 under the guidance of Prof. Mainak Chatterjee. Prior to that, he graduated from Jadavpur University, Kolkata with B.E. degree in Computer Science & Engineering (2002). Shamik Sengupta's research and teaching interests are in wireless networking, communications, dynamic spectrum access, cognitive radio, multimedia networking, security, network economics, auction & game theories, and WRAN technologies. His research contributions have led to several publications in IEEE/ACM journals and conferences, including an IEEE GLOBECOM 2008 Best Paper Award and a patent-pending wireless smart radio system development. Currently, Shamik Sengupta serves on the organizing and technical program committee of several IEEE international conferences.
