Alan Gopin is an Expert in Project Management

Alan Gopin teaches MGT 609 Introduction to Project Management and MGT 611 Project Planning Techniques at the graduate level. In a 29 year career with Bell Laboratories, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Schering Plough, and Pershing LLC, he has done software development, system test, systems engineering, and project management. He has managed projects in telephony operations systems, drug safety and metabolism, brokerage applications for mobile devices, and interactive voice response systems. Alan was technical track chair for the 2000 Lucent Project Management Conference. He has published papers at the 1999 and 2000 Lucent Project Management Conferences, and presented a poster at the 2002 PMI/NJ Symposium. He holds a BME in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Alan holds a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, and a Series 7 (brokerage) certification
