Caroline Lubert Professor of Mathematics

Caroline Lubert graduated from the University of Exeter, U.K., with a B.Sc. in Mathematics in 1984 and a Ph.D. in Engineering in 1988. For the next four years she was a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Engineering, University of Exeter. In 1992 she became a lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Plymouth, UK., and in 1994 she was promoted to Senior Lecturer. In 1998 she moved to James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, as an Associate Professor of Mathematics, and she was awarded tenure in 2002. Lubert is the author of numerous papers and a technical monograph.
