Photonics, Fiber Optics and Laser Applications expert David Y. Li

David Li has over than 20 years of experience in the research and development of Photonics, Optics, Fiber optics, Laser applications and Sensors. Li has been working at the Physics Department of Stevens Institute of Technology as a Research Associate Professor since 2005. Prior to that, he worked for Foxconn Optical Technology Inc. as a VP of Technology, Oplink Communications, Inc. as Director of Technical Marketing, and ILC Technology, Inc (div. of LG) as a Senior Engineer. Li holds a MS in Optical Engineering from the Cleveland State University and a BS in Optics/Laser application from the Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chang Chun, China. Li is a science fellow of the Central Institute of Earth Physics. Potsdam, Germany. His research projects include Optical and Fiber optical sensors, Pulsed laser, and MEOMs and FBG related technologies. Moreover, he holds four US patents, three grounded.
