Farid Homayounmehr designs networking systems

Farid Homayounmehr is at Lucent Technologies, Bell Labs Innovations where he designs and develops networking systems for SONET, SDH, and DWDM optical networks. Before joining Lucent, Homayounmehr was at AT&T working on security architectures for network operations, telephone, and data networks. His has also performed research in optoelectronics, high-speed data networking, Quality of Service control in Internet ATM and wireless networks. Homayounmehr earned his B.S. from the University of Tehran, his M.S. at Stevens, and his Ph.D. from Columbia University.
