Keith Kebel is an affiliate professor in the Howe School of technology Management at Stevens.  Currently an IT consultant to the life sciences industry, Professor Kebel has almost 40 years of experience in information technology.  His career includes senior positions in IT Management, application systems, technology, security, assurance, and program management.  He has worked at corporate, division, and operating unit levels domestically and internationally.

Professor Kebel's experience includes more than 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry.  For five years, he was CIO for the Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Group, responsible for overall strategy, planning, direction, and delivery of IT activities worldwide.  For BMS's Global Services unit, he led the successful implementation of SAP, served as its Chief Information Security and Assurance Officer, and headed the Program Management Office.  For Pfizer, he led the manufacturing Systems organization.

He has been the Executive Committee Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Information Systems Association and the Founding Chairman of the Conference Board Councils for Information Management Executives and SAP Implementation.  Professor Kebel developed and has been the sole instructor for the graduate level course "Pharmaceutical Industry Trends and Issues" at the Howe School.
