Kristin Giammarco is an Adjunct Professor at the Stevens Institute of Technology’s School of Systems and Enterprises, and a Software Engineering Ph.D. Candidate at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS).  She received the M.S. in Systems Engineering Management from NPS and the B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.  Ms. Giammarco has worked in commercial industry and government on communications systems, ensuring a sound systems approach to project planning and execution, improving the efficiency of technical and business processes, and conducting system of systems level analyses.  Her research interests include engineering analysis techniques for large scale software-intensive systems, especially modeling, simulation, and emulation of integrated architectures; quick-turn systems engineering processes and analyses; multiple criteria analysis and decision support; and the application of systems and software engineering techniques to business models and communications architecture optimization problems.
