Multimedia expert Rajarathnam Chandramouli

Rajarathnam Chandramouli joined Stevens recently after teaching at Iowa State University. His research covers wireless networking, media security, and applied probability. A cofounder of the Multimedia Systems, Networking, and Communications (MSyNC) Lab at Stevens, Chandramouli serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology and is a recipient of the IEEE Richard E. Merwin award. He obtained a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Madras, his M.E. in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, and his M.A. in Mathematics and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Florida.
