Sandra Khalil has over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and chemical industries. Her expertise includes pharmaceutical and medical device management, manufacturing operations, quality/compliance, new product development and business development at Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Sanofi-Aventis. She received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. in international business and operations management from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She earned a Lean & Six Sigma Black Belt from the Rutgers University Institute for Management & Executive Development in New Jersey and she is a licensed Professional Engineer. She has authored a scientific publication based on her medical research conducted in the Department of Pathology at University of Texas Medical School Houston. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Valley Forge Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, Chair of the Training committee Steam Best Practices with the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., and Co-Chair of the South Texas region of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. She is an active member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers, Beta Gamma Sigma National Business Honor Society, Omega Chi Epsilon Chemical Engineering Honor Society, and the Biotechnology Organization.
