Service Management Capstone (SME800)

Instructor
Michael Parfett
A 3-credit project is a requirement for a Master’s Degree in Service Management and Engineering. This is a capstone course that will be project or case study based to bring the entire curriculum together. The focus of the course will depend on which elective certificate was chosen. Effort will be made to use real life business problems from the companies that are represented in the class. For full time students a list of topics will be provided. Depending on the make up of the class the project will be either individual or team based.

The intent of the Masters project is for the student to apply the service management and engineering concepts, principles and practices they have learned to:

1. A “real” problem within an application domain of interest to them, their sponsor and their assigned academic advisor;
2. The development of a service management and engineering case study."
