Software Reliability Engineering (SSW689)

Course Instructor
Linda Laird

Learn how to analyze, predict, design, and engineer the required and expected reliability of software systems. Examine case studies of systems that worked well and of systems that failed in some crucial aspect. Case study examples include the London Ambulance Dispatch System, the Lucent Telephone Switching Systems and the Mars and Voyager missions. Prerequisite: SSW533.

The course discussion questions encouraged everyone to talk. I am surprised at the amount of similarities between everyone’s respective fields."
